Yes, it is possible to see Sarah Key for your back.
Sarah’s clinic is situated on the corner of Bridge and Young Streets in Sydney, one block back from Circular Quay on the beautiful Sydney Harbour. The clinic has been operating since 1987, although with her many commitments Sarah now leaves its full-time running to her staff. Periods when Sarah consults are set through the year. In order to see her, you must book in advance through her receptionist Brigitte [see contact details below].
Initial consultations with Sarah take place over 90 minutes and you must bring recent MRI/X-rays with you. Included with initial consultation and treatment is a summary and diagnosis of your problem and your future management, one of Sarah’s books, a BackBlock plus the DVD ‘How to Use the BackBlock’.
Sarah’s patient-load doesn't usually allow for follow-up treatment by her and in most cases you will be introduced to your managing therapist by Sarah before you leave [see ‘Our Sydney Clinic’ Photo Gallery in the top right corner for details of physiotherapists and staff members]. Sarah keeps in contact with your therapist through your treatment, although if you specifically require a repeat appointment with Sarah, this can be arranged. This is not possible however, if you have not seen Sarah Key for your initial consultation.
The Fernleigh Academy, Scone, New South Wales
Sarah Key also runs 'Back-in-a-Week' Intensive Therapy Programs at her Fernleigh Academy outside Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley [see ‘Back-in-a-Week’ section on this website]. Here you have all your treatment with her. There are various forms of the package tailored to suit your needs: the 'Blue Chip BIAW' programs are a total immersion in the cure and probably equip you best. For those who are time poor or who already know Sarah, we have designed the ‘Bare Bones’ BIAW programs, where you can stay overnight with full board and accommodation for one, two or four nights, seeing Sarah each day for treatment and also joining her daily Therapy Class. If patients preferring this option are new to Sarah, they must have an initial extended consultation at the start of the package. Patients must make their own way to Fernleigh under the ‘Bare Bones’ package and full details and travel directions are provided.
The ‘Bare Bones’ BIAW package is often run contemporaneously with ‘Back-in-a-Week’ although there are no lectures, treatment seminars and on-going treatment plans provided and it is not necessary to stay the whole week. The fees for these programs have been set lower than Sarah’s city rates because she feels it is a better treatment scenario and is keen to see people there! Numbers are limited and bookings must be made in advance through Brigitte in the city clinic. This treatment option is ideal for people doing a driving holiday up the east coast of Australia [see map provided].

Hotel Tresanton, St Mawes Cornwall
Twice yearly Sarah Key sees patients for intensive ‘Back-in-a-Week’ Intensive Therapy Programs at Hotel Tresanton in Cornwall [see BIAWs in UK on this website for dates]. Patients who have seen Sarah Key in the past can also make their way back to Hotel Tresanton for ‘Back-in-a-Weekend’ Top Up Treatment weekends interspersed throughout the year. These are similar to the ‘Bare Bones’ packages in Australia and may be arranged in advance through the hotel [see BIAWE dates in BIAW section of this website].
Individual appointments with Sarah Key are available for all existing and new patients [and of course Cornish residents living nearby] to have a consultation and treatment with Sarah while she is at Hotel Tresanton. Pre-existing patients of Sarah are requested to email her personal assistant Fiona Coote at fionacoote@sarahkey.com to be notified in advance of Sarah's upcoming dates in the UK. Actual appointments should be made directly with the Hotel Manager, Federica Bertolini, making it clear if you are a new patient to Sarah. One hour is necessary for new patients.
